Hello again everyone,
CyberSec Games’ summer competition for anyone with an idea for a physical cybersecurity game is back for it’s second year and you have just under 20 days to enter.
We are looking for board games, card games, whatever you dream up (as long as it’s tangible). If you’ve ever thought “this could be a game” during a threat modelling session, or even built a rough prototype, this is your chance to take it further.
This year the prize pool is more generous, with a retail contract as first prize and professional prototyping on offer for 1st and 2nd place recipients.
- 1st place - retail contract
- 1st - 2nd place - professional prototyping
- 1st-3rd place - receive development support - including a development call with us.
Adrian, Monika Kim and Avi had a great time working with us on their games and we have promoted their work at events throughout the year.
We’ve got a brilliant panel of judges who’ll give feedback, and entries are open now (Deadline for submission is 9th October). Judging takes place in autumn, and the winner will be announced at the end of October.
I know many of you here are already designing tools and activities to support threat modeling and other aspects of cyber security delivery.
We’d love to hear from you, and anyone else keen to make cybersecurity a bit more playful and engaging.
